The communication app for high-conflict messages
Read the meaning, not the rage bait.
Paste in the text from your ex, or anyone who sets you off. AnchorIt™ pulls out what actually needs a response and filters out the jabs. You get the facts without getting activated.
What AnchorIt™ sees
Skip the rage bait altogether.
The message as it arrived
The breakdown
What needs attention
Pickup is scheduled for Saturday at 4:00. Sender expects you to be present.
Does not require a response
Comments about practice. Statements about your parenting or character. Assumptions about your personal plans.
Possible response
"Confirmed. I will be available Saturday at 4:00 for pickup."
Composure note
Only respond to what requires action.
The real result, right in the app.
Outgoing mode
Send the message, not the mood.
Not quite right? Fine-tune it with one tap.
Or type your own instruction and tap Refine.
No new app for them. No permission needed.
AnchorIt™ doesn't ask your ex, your coworker, or opposing counsel to join anything. One click copies your clear message. Paste it into a text, an email, a co-parenting app, or say it out loud on the phone. Any way you communicate, it works.
How it works
Three steps. Zero drama.
Paste it in.
The message you got, or the one you're dying to send.
AnchorIt.
Pick incoming or outgoing. The emotional charge comes out.
Copy and send.
One click. Keep your credibility. Keep your peace.
It teaches while it works.
Every result shows you what was changed and why. Use it enough and you start responding this way on your own. That's the point: composure that becomes a habit.
Don't take our word for it.
"As a family law attorney, I am always looking for tools that provide real value to my clients, and AnchorIt has exceeded my expectations. I regularly refer clients to the app because it helps take emotion out of communication and reduce unnecessary conflict."
"I've been in a high conflict divorce/'co-parenting' situation for about 4 1/2 years now. I've used ChatGPT and a few other platforms to help with my responses but none of them really zero in on how to keep responses super focused and not feed into the baiting."
"I use it myself for business to ensure I respond to emails that require emotions to be taken out of it and have also recommended it to a friend going through a separation and it has helped her immensely."
From the founder
Why I built it.
Attorneys and therapists kept telling me the same thing. Their clients needed support when the midnight text came in. Or, as one attorney put it:
"I wish my client would read their damn message before they hit send."
Generic AI wasn't the answer. It's built to agree with you. Hand it your anger and it hands your anger back, just better punctuated.
Then I thought about my own divorce. The hardest messages weren't the ones I sent. They were the ones I received. Accusatory. Inflammatory. Written to make me defend every point. The energy I wasted chasing down whose version of the truth was right was maddening.
So I built incoming mode. Drop the message in and AnchorIt™ removes the provocation but keeps the information. You stay informed without getting pulled in.
It runs on The Composure Codes™, the same methodology I use in mediation and in my one-on-one programs. It's not a chatbot. It's a method.

OurFamilyWizard documents the fire. AnchorIt™ keeps the match from lighting.
Co-parenting apps like OurFamilyWizard and TalkingParents are built for the paper trail. They archive messages, keep the calendar, and track expenses. AnchorIt™ is built for the message itself: it breaks down what you receive and rewrites what you send. Use it alongside them, not instead of them.
Your messages stay yours.
- Messages are processed in real time and are not stored by AnchorIt™. Read our privacy policy for details.
- Powered by The Composure Codes™, not a generic AI prompt.
- A communication tool. Not legal advice, legal strategy, or mental health services.

Questions, answered.
What is AnchorIt™?
A communication tool for high-conflict situations. It breaks down the messages you receive (what needs a response, what doesn't, and why) and rewrites the ones you send.
Does the other person have to use it?
No. It works even if you're the only one using it.
Does it replace OurFamilyWizard (OFW)?
No. OFW documents the fire. AnchorIt™ helps with the message itself. Paste the result into OFW or anywhere else.
Are my messages stored?
Messages are processed in real time and are not stored by AnchorIt™. See the privacy policy for details.
Is it only for divorce?
No. It works for any message with heat on it: an ex, a family member, a coworker, a client.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Open app.useanchorit.com and tap Install App to add it to your home screen.
What's the difference between AnchorIt™ and The Composure Codes™?
AnchorIt™ helps in the moment. The Composure Codes™ is a five-week program that works on the patterns underneath, so composure becomes automatic.
How much is it?
$99/year or $15.99/month, after a free trial.
